Why do we have to use renewable energies?
We have to use renewable energies because these energies are coming from the sun, wind, biomass, geothermal and water. That means they are 100% natural and 0% artificial.
According to a 2011 projection by the International Energy Agency, solar power generators may produce most of the world’s electricity within 50 years, dramatically reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases that harm the environment.

Difference between renewable energies and non-renewable.
Renewable energy they will never run out.The five renewable sources used most often are:
-Biomass — including:
-Geothermal
-Wind
-Solar
And the four nonrenewable energy sources used most often are:
-Oil and petroleum products — including gasoline, diesel fuel, and propane
Natural gas
-Coal
-Uranium (nuclear energy)
Nonrenewable energy sources come out of the ground as liquids, gases, and solids. Crude oil (petroleum) is the only commercial nonrenewable fuel that is naturally in liquid form. Natural gas and propane are normally gases, and coal is a solid.

WIND ENERGY
Wind energy is the power that make the wind to produce electricity, such as using wind turbines, windmills for mechanical power, wind pumps forwater pumping or drainage, or sails to propel ships.
Large wind farms consist of hundreds of individual wind turbines which are connected to the electric power transmission network. Offshore wind farms can harness more frequent and powerful winds than are available to land-based installations and have less visual impact on the landscape but construction costs are considerably higher.
Wind power, as an alternative to fossil fuels, is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed, clean, produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation and uses little land. The effects on the environment are generally less problematic than those from other power sources, with the exception of disproportionate effects on endangered birds, such as the golden eagle and raptor species.

Wind energy
We are 13-15 years old and we are in the 2nd B class, INS Jaume callis, Vic.
We have created this blog about the wind energy. At the moment we send you a beautiful photo of the wind energy.
